SHOP POLICIES
 
1. Customers represent that they have in effect their own health insurance coverage and acknowledge their consent and full understanding that this Shop will not be responsible and/or liable to its Patrons for injuries sustained by the customer while using the Shop facilities, tools, equipment in performance of automotive repair and maintenance work at the Shop.
 
2. Safety glasses must be worn at all times within the Facility when performing any Automotive Work or using equipment. If you don't have safety glasses, we sell them in the shop.
 
3. NO open toed shoes will be allowed within the Facility at any time.
 
4. Report to YOUR RENT 2 WRENCH staff IMMEDIATELY for any kind of spill that is larger than can be casually taken care of.
 
5. Smoking is PROHIBITED within the Facility at all times. Smoking is allowed in designated area. ABSOLUTELY, no alcohol or illegal substances are allowed on the property. No persons perceived under the influence of alcohol or drugs are allowed on the property. If you are suspect of such a condition, you will be asked to leave. If you are going to smoke, it must be done outside and any butts completely put out and put into trash. A safe work environment for all is our number one priority! 
 
6. Rags must be disposed into the proper containers. DO NOT throw them into trash!
 
7. Please be respectful of other people and their space. Harassment and “horse play” will not be tolerated!
 
8. Absolutely NO SOLICITATION for paid services to other RENT 2 WRENCH or MADE IN JAPAN-AMERICA               clients is ALLOWED. VIOLATORS OF THIS RULE MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY, WITHOUT REFUND, AND/OR PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE USE OF OUR FACILITY IN THE FUTURE!
 
9. Customers are responsible for all the tools and equipment provided for them to use. All the tools and equipment must be cleaned and returned in the same condition as when they were provided. Otherwise a “cleaning fee” may be applied.
 
10. Use the right tool for the right job. DO NOT ABUSE OR MISUSE THEM. OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PRIVILEGES TO USE THEM. Any missing tools will be automatically billed on your invoice.
For example: Don’t use hand tool as a hammer or a screwdriver as a pry bar, etc.
 
11. If you are not sure of something, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU PROCEED!
 
12. Customers must follow all the shop policies, as well as the rules and instructions given by YOUR RENT 2 WRENCH staff. This is a real professional working repair shop environment.
 
13. No more than 2 people are allowed in a rented work space at any given time. No pets are permitted in the shop.
 
14. No person under the age of 18 is allowed in the shop. The only exception is if someone is between 16 and 18 years old and accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
 
15. Shop computers are for vehicle repair references ONLY! Shop computers are not for personal use, entertainment, or surfing the net for unrelated vehicle maintenance and repair.
 
16. No body work, painting, sanding, etc. Our facility is not properly equipped for this type of work.
 
17. ALL clients will sign a “RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ACCIDENT WAIVER FORM”. RENT 2 WRENCH is not responsible for you or the vehicle that you are working on. We provide the facility and resources; you are responsible for yourself, your behavior, your choices, and your vehicle.
 
18. All RENT 2 WRENCH clients must watch a “SAFETY” and “HOIST USAGE” video prior to using our facility. This must be performed at minimum ANNUALLY.
 
19. If you need assistance, please see the RENT 2 WRENCH management staff. Please do not interfere with the MADE IN JAPAN-AMERICA technician staff. They are working for a separate business and have obligations to satisfy.
 
20. ALL HAZMAT items must be properly disposed of. NEVER put Hazmat items into our drains, sinks, parking lot, etc. No batteries, fluids, contaminants, etc. into our dumpster or trash cans. Do not throw our shop rags away (there are “dirty” rag containers located in the shop). We are a “green” repair shop and want to do our part to keep it that way.
 
21. Do to the high demand for our services, there may be times when we get fully booked and there are people on a wait list for the next available bay. For this reason, if you are more than 15 minutes late for a reserved space without contacting our staff, we reserve the right to rent your bay to someone else.

22. Work area should be mopped and broom clean when you're done so the next person can get started. So please allow time in your rental to clean up. 
 
23. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you can do it yourself!
